Text-and-data reconciliation

A city habitat team tested several small changes to public planting sites. The displays report separate parts of the pilot: before-and-after pollinator counts at three parks, visits to native and introduced flowers, weekly seedling survival, shade and soil temperature, and moisture readings for two treatments. The team expected added shade to help soil retain moisture. Because locations were not randomly assigned to every condition, the report treats the patterns as evidence for further testing rather than proof that any one treatment caused every difference.
